Another great scooter from George and his team at CP Classics
(my second one). Their scooters are prepared to the highest
standard and look stunning. Lots of stainless and chrome on this
1962 VBB 150.
Thanks George, your skill is much appreciated. |

I
purchased my 1962 Vespa last year, and the process was seamless.
George and his team provide exhaustive purchase/transport
information on this website, and it went just as it was
outlined. The job they did restoring the Vespa was outstanding,
and is a real beauty! They deliver just what they promise. I
will offer one cautionary note for someone living in California:
the California DMV has gotten very strict about registering
imported Vespas. They wanted the original title transfer
document from Vietnam, which was difficult to obtain.
Unfortunately, DMV did not inform me that a solution to the
registration problem is to obtain a Surety Bond from an
insurance company. I only found out about this option thanks to
the advice I got from another California resident who had the
same problem registering their imported lancasterclassics'
scooter. Getting a Surety Bond is a pretty simple process for
the registration. But, it was the only solution I could find. I
would recommend biting the bullet and getting the Surety Bond
right up front in the registration process (if your from CA) so
you can spend more time enjoying the ride on your new, restored
"lancasterclassics" scooter! Thanks, again, George and Team for a great
product and providing me with many fun rides on my restored Vespa. |

I ordered a beautiful Tiffany Blue 1964 Vespa VBB Scooter with a
sidecar from George this past Fall and the whole buying and
shipping process went very smooth. The quality and performance
of the unit is simply amazing, absolutely beautiful! I was
skeptical as I’ve never ordered anything from overseas. However,
George and one of his good buyers assured me that I would be
getting a good quality scooter, I’m very happy! George is a true
professional and he stands by his product. He made the whole
buying experience easy for me. I had photos sent
during the rebuild phase and of the unit being tested, along
with operating instructions. It was all very helpful information
for a first timer (Vespa driver) like myself. When I first drove
it out with my husband, we accidentally scraped the sidecar
damaging the light that sits on the side unit. I told George what
happened and he sent out a new light fixture for me soon after.
All I needed to do is get the sidecar repainted here locally.
George will ship extra paint for touch up purposes with your Vespa
along with the accessories. George and his team are the BEST!
Thank you for the gorgeous restore, George! I love my scooter! |

I choose the 1966 VBC with side car. The most difficult decision
was what color. Silver/blue or cream or cherry red. As you see
in the pictures the cherry red won out. Really happy with George
and his workers making the entire process a fun and exciting
event. George was especially helpful giving me the contact who
person accept and deliver the 900 lb box from San Francisco to
my home in San Jose, California The paper work sent gave my the
ability to register the Vespa at the California DMV with no
problems. I’m a very happy owner at age 81 and will be happy to
provide specifics on the buying/shipping/owning details. I’m
very surprised how much power the scooter has with the side car.
Very satisfactory! |

George and his team at lancasterclassics just delivered me three more
amazing scooters to bring the total we have done together to
five. These three included a 1956 Lambretta LD150, a 1955Vespa
VL2T and a 1960 Vespa VBB restored as an MP6 replica. They are
all amazing scooters- beautifully restored and mechanically
exceptional. All three started up and ran great. My biggest
problem is choosing which one to ride! George and his team are the
best at what they do, not to mention fair priced. George is a
great communicator and keeps you involved through every step of
the process. Packing and transport is flawless. lancasterclassics is
as good as any restorer in Italy and they are the only one based
in Viet Nam that you can trust and have confidence in. |

WOW !!!!! Amazing.
A very special thank you to George and all his team at Nebula
Scooters, for the care and professionalism shown to us every step
of the way during our recent acquisition of a beautifully
restored 1963 Vespa GS 160. From the moment George
and I spoke on the phone, I felt comfortable that we were in
capable hands. Upon delivery we were left speechless at the
level of detail that goes into each one of these meticulous
restorations.
Totally exceeded our expectations especially to the small
attention to detail like the inclusion of stylish rubber floor
mat, dust/rain cover, spares kit and retro owners manual, was
such a nice touch.
We are so honored to be the next custodian of this gorgeous 55
year old classic, who we have named ‘Giulia”.
Photos cannot do justice. So much love and true passion goes
into bringing these artisan made Vespas back to their former
glory. In my humble opinion, I think they look even better that
they would have when initially rolled off the production floor
all those years ago.
Currently living and working in HCMC, Vietnam, however we intend
to return to New Zealand following completion of our work
over here. One of the first items to be carefully packed and
shipped will be the new addition to the family. George extended an
open invitation to us, that he would be very happy to help us
with that process when we are ready for the move.
Much appreciation and gratitude for such a great experience.
Happy to chat to anyone interested who is thinking of investing
in one from lancasterclassics. |

I
went all in and purchased a 1961 VBB and a 1968 VBL with sidecar
from lancasterclassics. I uncrated the bikes and they were flawless.
I was blown away. Upon inspecting how they were packed, it is
easy to see how they have never had a damage claim. The packing
and securing of the bikes to the crates was as professional as
it gets. I chose to fire up the VBB first and she fired right up
on the third kick. Two minutes later I was headed down the road
on my maiden voyage. She performed flawlessly, shifted smoothly,
had good power and well, it was just a great experience. Anyone
who has properly considered investing in a vintage restored
Vespa has probably heard some horror stories about bikes
restored in Viet Nam. I can unequivocally state that the Vespa’s
from lancasterclassics and team are the real deal. George and his team
do amazing work and he is a man of his word. If you are
considering investing in a vintage restored Vespa, you can do so
with confidence with lancasterclassics. This is not a paid
for or planted review, I provide this based solely on my own
personal experience. Thanks again George
for two great bikes. We will be getting together on a third
soon. |

Scooter arrived late December 2016 so haven’t really had chance
to ride a great deal, so far have clocked up 350km have to say
am really pleased with it, the ride is smooth and feels a lot
more stable than my p200!!.
Cant fault George and his team for communication and for being
helpful nothing was too much trouble.
The scooter attracts attention everywhere i have been all people
saying how fantastic it looks.
Didn't have any problems registering it its a fairly simple task,
make sure you send all relevant documentation required.
Scoot arrived in sturdy wooden packaging well bolted down,
spares were in toolbox, cover, bulbs, spark plug, spark plug
socket, cables, manual and full packet of documentation.
I ordered a bench seat as well as the singles, my opinion the
bench is better as the riding position is better.
Also had indicators fitted which look brilliant.
All in all so far am well impressed with build quality and
finish fair play to George his scooters do exactly what he states
they do.
Looking forward to getting it run in. |

tuning of the carb for my local conditions and with the
combination of spark plugs over summer and winter, the Sprint
has not offered any trouble. I also use the Vespa for Moto
Pacing with my son’s cycling team and its a big hit with the
bystanders when you rock past with a 1968 Red Vespa Sprint with
eight (8) team member in tow at 50 Km! George is always happy to

have been more supportive when dealing with questions I had as a

urge to wear Fred Perry or plaid. I ride my Vespa twice a week

they are something very special and I am glad to be apart of

I travel to Vietnam for work and love seeing and riding scooters
here! I had a SS180 in the 60s in the UK and knew I needed to
relive those days. After a lot of research and visits to other
Vespa restoration businesses and I choose lancasterclassics.
The advice from George and ease of importing the bike into
Australia (apart the extra cost to get it to Tasmania!!) was a
breeze.
Once the bike arrived, exactly what I had put together by email
with George. The local road worthy examination station was very
negative that I had bought one in Vietnam, but on examination
and certification, and they were looking for problems said “What
a great restoration job!” it passed with out a problem.
A minor issue with a carbby jet was fixed immediately with a new
one arriving within a week!
I now have 650 Ks on the clock and gets better ever time I ride
it. Looking forward to the 1000 k mark.
Ever time I take it out people want to look at it and take
photos. |

started right up and runs exactly as it should. A simply
beautiful restoration with equal care given to packing and
shipping. If you have any doubts about buying from overseas,
don’t. George and the guys at lancasterclassics are the real deal, and
they provide everything you need to get it registered and titled
in the states, my trip to the DMV was super easy. I’ll
definitely be back for another for my wife at some point. Thanks
guys! |

I and my friends have purchased 4 Vespa+Lambretta from George and
have recommended lancasterclassics to all our friends, even the ones who
couldn’t care less about bikes! |
